Year-End Blogalooza at Neuroanthropology!

The Award-Winning (and fan of the prehistoric life toob) Blog, Neuroanthropology, is hosting the first annual (drum roll, please):

Best of Anthropology Blogging 2008

Details are available here. In a nutshell, anthro bloggers will be submitting blog posts in two categories: Most Popular Post (oh, jeez, its High School again--deeply embedded insecurities have torn loose--a quantitative evaluation) and My Self-Selected Best Post (oh no, a qualitative assessment, but, I love all my babies.)

If you blog, suffer alongside me and submit your choices. If you read, log onto the blog on December 31 and do what you do best.

Any votes on "Best"?

Hey, this got me thinking:

Would you go to the Anthropology Blogging Prom with me?

If you say no, fine, just don't tell me you're going with the Quarterback of the Anthropology Team.

Anyway, I have to get my powder blue tuxedo together, and my platform shoes.

Wait, I forgot!

I will bring you a great big corsage in the shape of Clifford Geertz's face if you say yes!

Far out! I have just enough time to find a polyester dress and a curling iron. But I'm not putting out until you get me sloppy drunk--Geertzian corsage or not.

How in heaven's name are you going to pick? You have a massive and stellar body of work. Even the biggest defensive back on the Anthropology Team could't make a dent in your pile of blog posts.

Thanks Pam!

It was easy actually, for one I went mostly by the stats, and for the other the one that I felt best represented what I wanted to do with the blog and that got some of the best comments.

I want to hear more about this polyester dress!
