Anonymous said...: I just wrote a short little something about how nobody has ever heard of anthropology (I know, this is an exaggeration). I get questions every day from people wondering exactly what it is that I am studying, and what the practical applications are. There is a definite PR issue with anthropology. And this seems to be yet another indicator of that fact. While it's important to push the boundaries within the field, it's also important to push the message beyond it, IMO.; February 22, 2009 at 2:14 PM
